Addax and Oryx Foundation

The Addax and Oryx Foundation aims to fund focused, high-impact projects with a clear beginning, end and exit strategy, run by small organisations that have little or no access to large funders. The Foundation gives preference to concrete projects that cover more than one of our key areas of focus: health, education, community development, with environmental stewardship cutting across all activities, in the knowledge that they are all crucial to the journey out of extreme poverty.

Ploughshares Fund

As a public foundation, we rely on the generosity of people like you. Your donation is immediately invested in the most timely and effective projects to advance our mission. We operate as a funding hub for those working to reduce nuclear threats – evaluating and supporting dozens of initiatives, think tanks, activist groups, and lobbying campaigns.

We make your donation go farther by adding it to others and making the largest grants possible to those who need them.

The Conservation, Food and Health Foundation

The Foundation funds applied research, pilot projects, new initiatives, training, and technical assistance, rather than ongoing support for programs that are already well underway. An important goal for the Foundation is to provide seed money to help promising projects, organizations, and individuals develop the track record they need to attract major foundation funding in the future.

Michael and Susan Dell Foundation

Millions of children from low-income backgrounds don’t have the chance to attend a high-quality school. For those who do, unique challenges remain, making it harder for them to get to and through college. We invest in closing these opportunity gaps so all students can pursue a quality education, providing a pathway to prosperity for them and their families.
